Thanks to the marvels of modern technology (and a $10 a day wi-fi charge added to my room bill) I am blogging from the Sheraton in beautiful down-town Atlanta. I am attending a conference for Vision users (Vision is the program our agency, and many others, uses to store and manage all our client’s data). I arrived this morning after an envigorating drive through rush hour traffic, then I got to sit in a conference room for four hours learning about such exciting topics as “Creating Formletters in VIsion” and “Creating Proposals in Vision.” There was a quick break for lunch (sandwiches, salads and a suprisingly good seafood chowder) then back to the room for another couple hours of “Vision Invoicing from A to Z.” I never thought a hotel room could look so appealing (even though my view is of the parking deck). Time to settle in, order some room service and see what’s on the ole HBO tonight. Ew, “The Greatest Silence: Rape in the Congo.” Maybe I’ll just turn in early.
