coincidence?

All this talk about Sarah Palin running for Prez in 2012 has me thinking that maybe the Myan’s were right.  Their long count calendar runs out on 12/21/2012. 
Coincidence? 
I sure as hell hope so!

politics and ambition

I’m not an expert when it comes to politics.  I’m not even an amateur.  You should never repeat anything I say regarding politics.  When I watch the news I can’t help wondering if 10 years from now I’ll look back on this time as when the shit all started.  When it really got bad.  The time when we were presented with multiple choices for our future and we chose wrong.  Thank you American media for freaking me the f**k out and making me unnaturally paranoid about the future.  Thank you.

Everyone is talking about McCain’s VP pick, Sarah Palin.  People are concerned about her seemingly uber-conservative stand on the issues and her inexperience.  I’m focusing on something else entirely.  She just had a baby in April.  New babies are a handful anyway, but her baby has Down syndrome.  Downs babies require special care.  Also, her teenage daughter is pregnant.  Her immature, child of a daughter is going to have a baby.  These situations usually involve the new grandparents supporting their grandchild and their child both emotionally and monetarily.  Given all this, Palin accepts the offer to run as the Vice President of the United States for the Republican party.  Her family is going through some turbulent times and she decides to hit the campaign trail. 

This, to me, says much more about her than her NRA card or Pro-Life bumper sticker ever could.
